1. Khazar Islands, Azerbaijan ($100 Billion Dollars)

Khazar Island or Caspian Island is an artificial island built 25 km south of Baku, Azerbaizan. According to the island's plan will be completed in 2022.

On the island will be home to one million residents, 150 schools, 50 hospitals, universities, shopping centers, hospitals, formula 1 sircuit to Azerbaijan Tower, which will be the world's tallest building.

2. The King Abdullah Economic City ($86 Billion Dollars)

The city will be built next to the Red Sea, 100 kilometers north of Jeddah City, the commercial center of Saudi Arabia. The city's construction will be undertaken by Dubai Emaar Properties, one of the world's largest real estate companies.

The total construction of this project also reached 67 miles, so no one if the city is completed building the extent will beat Washington DC. The development of the city itself, is Saudi Arabia's attempt to boost the economy by encouraging foreign investment to enter.

3. Gujarat International Finance Tec-City, India ($20 Billion Dollars)

Gujarat International Finance Tec-City or GIFT is a business district built in Gujarat, India, the construction of this project will take up 986 hectares of land. This area, will have a Special Economic Zone (SEZ), an international education zone, integrated cities, entertainment zones, hotels, technology parks and exchanges.

4. Songdo International Business District, South Korea ($40 Billion)

Songdo International Business District (SIBD) is a city built on a reclaimed land of 1,500 hectares. There will be built world-class office buildings, housing, hospitals, schools and educational facilities.

This city was built with the concept of green living where 40 percent of urban land will be allocated for green open spaces, not only that this city also uses underground piping system for urban waste disposal.

5. Madinat Al-Hareer, Kuwait ($94 Billion)
Madinat al-Hareer is a city built in Subiya, north of Kuwait. The 250km-long city will feature a variety of property projects such as housing, educational centers, health centers, airports and the 1,001 meters high-rise Burj Mubarak Al-Kabir. The plan of this project will be built for 25 years.
