The story of the origin of popsicle is very interesting. One night, in San Fransico precisely in 1905, an 11-year-old boy, Frank Eppersen, accidentally put a stick into a glass of soda which he left on the terrace all night.
According to The New York report, when Frank was about to retrieve the glass the next morning, the soft drink had frozen and clung to the stalk put in by him. It was not until 1922 that the popsicle was first introduced to the public of the United States.
Although not found spontaneously, so far potato chips included in the list of the most popular snacks in the world. According to The Christian Science Monitor report, potato chips were found by hotel chefs in upstate New York, after a customer complained about the fries being too thick, wet and tasteless.
